Thermal event
I forgot to post this, but this is what a 'thermal event error' looked like on a motherboard I replaced a couple of weeks ago.

Sunset over Olympia

A Tree Falls in Olympia
Seems the windstorms we've had over the past few days helped knock down this giant tree early this morning on the east side of Sylvester Park in downtown Olympia. It looks like it wiped out a smaller tree on its way down but missed the nearby statue. Completely amazing up close to see how it had ripped asphalt and concrete right out of the ground.

Geese
Apparently I needed a permit to photograph these geese. That or the security guy had sand in his youknowwhat.

Sunset
I couldn't find a good vantage point but the sunset tonight was breathtaking...

Poker
Started with some old school nickel and dime action and then moved into hold'em. Don't tell anyone but I kind of wish hold 'em would lose its fad appeal sooner rather than later; I miss the old games.

After the storm
Matty had some stuff to do Saturday which took us out near the beach so I grabbed my camera and went along for the ride. We'd had windstorms the night before and could see the after effects on our way there and back. Random photos of the day:
