We took a short getaway trip up to Lake Quinault Resort over the weekend. The view from our deck was spectacular and we had a great time. You can definitely tell fall is in the air now though...

Lightning!
I grew up in big storms country - a place where the sky turns green, hail the size of softballs (or larger) isn't unheard of, and where the thunder shakes your windows at night. I *miss* big storms. So when the thunder and lightning came through here last night I was giddy as all hell.
This was my best shot.
