Matty and I both ended up with a 4 day weekend so we decided to take a Valentine’s mini-break up to Vancouver and the surrounding areas. We had an absolute blast getting lost, almost getting trampled in the Olympics crowds, seeing the flame up close (well, through a fence, but still), stopping at my favorite jade store in Gastown, and shopping for swag. Vancouver is a fun and beautiful city and we always have a wonderful time there.
Afterward we came back home to the US and stayed at the Silver Reef casino for the night. Excellent trip! Thanks Matty for a wonderful time. XO.

Thanks to TFer Procedural Texture who had the presence of mind to take photos of the whole event. I’m still not quite sure why my camera stayed in the off position most of the night. Also thanks to you Canadian farkers who made a couple of beer thirsty, road weary Americans feel at home. Vancouver is such a great city
